Juan Carmona Fernández is Solutions Leader for Spain and Portugal at Philips, where he leads the development and delivery of strategic, innovative projects that help healthcare providers address complex clinical, operational and technological challenges. His work focuses on co-creating integrated solutions that bring together people, processes, data, services and technology to improve care delivery, operational performance, and patient and staff experience.

With a PhD in Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Juan brings a strong technical and practical perspective to healthcare transformation. His experience spans digital health, workflow optimisation, medical imaging, digital pathology, oncology solutions, clinical-system integration and the use of AI-enabled technologies to support more efficient and accurate diagnostics.

During his career at Philips, Juan has held roles in radiology information systems and PACS, digital pathology implementation, oncology business development, and strategic solutions leadership. He works closely with hospitals, health systems and clinical leaders across Iberia to design high-impact value propositions and partnerships that align clinical, operational and digital priorities. At Health Data Forum Global Hybrid Summit 2026, he brings an industry perspective on turning innovation, data and technology into sustainable improvements in healthcare delivery.
