Dr Myriam Fernández Martín, leads Health Innovation for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Amazon Web Services (AWS). A registered nurse turned healthcare executive, she has spent more than 20 years working at the intersection of clinical practice, technology and policy across Europe and the United States, always with the same conviction: technology in healthcare earns its place only when it does two things at once: makes care more human and makes outcomes measurably better.

At AWS, Dr Fernández partners with health systems, governments and life-sciences organisations to harness cloud, data and artificial intelligence for more personalised, equitable and outcomes-driven health services. She is recognised for bridging clinical reality with technology strategy, helping leaders move beyond digital ambition to measurable impact for patients, professionals and populations.

Before AWS, she built and led healthcare value-advisory practices at Cerner/Oracle Health, guiding large-scale clinical and digital transformations. Her expertise spans AI-enabled care delivery, clinical innovation, data-driven decision-making, personalised health and responsible use of emerging technologies.

Dr Fernández is a member of the Digital Europe Health Executive Council, HIMSS Europe, and advisory board member at WHXTech Dubai.
