Olaf Klungel

Professor Olaf H. Klungel is Professor of Pharmacoepidemiologic Methods and head of the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology & Clinical Pharmacology at Utrecht University's Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences. Trained as a pharmacist and epidemiologist, he is a leading expert in observational drug research methods, adjunct professor of pharmacoepidemiology at the University of Southern Denmark, and has served in key roles in European pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance networks, including past President of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE).
