Rhidian Hurle

Professor Rhidian Hurle, Chief Clinical Information Officer for Wales and Medical Director of Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW), is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board. With an MD from Cardiff University for prostate cancer research and a Master's in Digital Health Leadership (Imperial College London), he champions technology to enhance healthcare quality. A Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics and Professor of Practice at the University of Wales Trinity St David, he leads digital transformation, including the Welsh Clinical Portal, to improve patient safety and care delivery.
