Szymon Bielecki is Head of Sector for AI Health Tech and Infrastructure within Unit A6, Artificial Intelligence in Health and Life Sciences, part of the European Commission's AI Office in DG CONNECT. His remit covers designing and implementing EU actions to drive excellence in AI for health; supervising health-data infrastructures for research, innovation, personalised medicine, and public health under the Digital Europe Programme; overseeing the European 1+ Million Genomes initiative; and implementing measures to foster health-data reuse.
