President of the European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) 

Professor Dipak Kalra is President of the European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD), where he advises governments and European institutions on building trustworthy health data ecosystems and the European Health Data Space. A Professor of Health Informatics and former general practitioner, he has led the development of international (ISO) standards for electronic health records and patient data protection, and works with policymakers, regulators and industry to ensure that health data use improves care quality, strengthens public trust and supports evidence‑informed decision‑making.
