Professor Henrique Martins is an Associate Professor at ISCTE and the Director of BRU_DHI – Digital Health International, where he leads research and innovation in digital health, interoperability, and healthcare transformation. A medical doctor and internal medicine specialist with master's and PhD degrees in management and a master's in law, he is the former President of Portugal's national digital health agency SPMS and former Member States co‑chair of the EU eHealth Network, and now combines academic roles with international consulting for organisations such as WHO on digital health governance, AI and the European Health Data Space
