María Gordillo is a Healthcare Data Scientist in the Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance Division of the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS), where she conducts pharmacovigilance signal detection activities and leverages real-world data (RWD) to support regulatory decision-making. Prior to joining AEMPS, she worked at the European Medicines Agency (EMA), leading and coordinating pharmacogenomics initiatives. María holds a PhD in Genetic Epidemiology from University College London and serves as a pharmacogenomics expert within the Methodology European Specialised Expert Community of the European Medicines Regulatory Network.
