Stefan Buttigieg

Malta's Ministry for Health and Active Ageing 

Dr Stefan Buttigieg is a Specialist in Public Health Medicine at Malta's Ministry for Health and Active Ageing, where he also serves as Manager of the National Contact Point for eHealth. His work focuses on integrating digital health, health data, and AI into public health systems. He lectures at the University of Malta on digital health, social media in healthcare, and digital therapeutics, and serves as Vice‑President of the European Public Health Association's Section on Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence. A frequent keynote speaker and host of the "Digital Health Voice" podcast, he is on a mission to enable equitable digital health and trustworthy AI so that no one is left behind.ephconference+2youtube+1
