Tomi Laitinen

Tomi Laitinen is a Senior Adviser at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of Finland (STM), where he works on digital health policy, health data governance and Finland's alignment with the European Health Data Space (EHDS). He is part of the Digital Health Finland network, which brings together Finnish digital health actors to strengthen international growth and collaboration. He has presented on the Nordic model of secondary use of health data and its alignment with the EHDS framework, and has moderated international panels on interoperability, AI and data-driven health systems. His work bridges national health data policy and European implementation, with a particular focus on secondary use, data governance and cross-border collaboration.
