Dr. Padmavathi Roy, Chief Data and Operations Officer (CDOO) of Health Data Forum and the Real Data Better AI Initiative, is a medical doctor, enterprise architect, and healthcare IT strategist with over two decades of experience in digital health, enterprise platforms, healthcare transformation, and cybersecurity. A former Chair of The Open Group Healthcare Forum, she brings clinical insight, enterprise architecture expertise, and design thinking to global conversations on data governance, cybersecurity, interoperability, and the responsible future of AI in healthcare.
Dr. Roy is a physician with an MBA in IT and General Management, combining clinical expertise with more than 20 years of leadership in Healthcare IT, enterprise transformation, and digital innovation. After nearly a decade in clinical practice, she transitioned into healthcare technology, where she has led organizational Agile transformations, Design Thinking initiatives, healthcare modernization programs, and value stream mapping projects focused on improving healthcare outcomes, operational efficiency, and digital trust.
During her long tenure at DXC Technology and its predecessor organizations, she worked extensively across healthcare solution architecture, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, interoperability, and strategic technology innovation. She contributed to large-scale healthcare transformation programs, enterprise modernization initiatives, and architecture governance activities, while also supporting bid management, delivery assurance, and product innovation initiatives. Her work included architecting and guiding healthcare technology solutions aligned with business strategy, clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and secure digital ecosystems.
Dr. Roy also served within DXC's CTO and Architecture organizations, contributing to strategic innovation initiatives, Agile and SAFe transformations, Design Thinking programs, and healthcare technology modernization efforts. She has worked across multiple domains including healthcare interoperability, enterprise platforms, cybersecurity, cloud transformation, and operational governance frameworks.
Recognized as both a DXC Master Technologist and DXC Distinguished Technologist, and selected as part of the DXC Tech Honors global program, she has delivered impact across healthcare architecture, enterprise transformation, business analysis, bid management, program leadership, and innovation strategy. She is a Certified Scrum Master, Leading SAFe Agilist, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), and an HL7 2.5/2.6 Certified Specialist. Her unique combination of medical training and technology leadership enables her to bridge clinical needs with secure, scalable, and innovative digital health solutions.
