Foundations from Dialogue on Trust, Equity & Health Data
The Wales Joint Charter
Trust, Equity & Health Data
The Wales Joint Charter is one of the key outcomes of the Health Data Forum Global Hybrid Summit 2025, held in Cardiff.
It captures the shared insights that emerged from our dialogue on trust, transparency, equity and the responsible use of health data in the age of AI.
The Charter is not a final agreement. It is a living foundation for the Real Data, Better AI movement.

Bilbao will take the next step: moving from principles to implementation, with a focus on EHDS, genomics, imaging, cybersecurity and trusted secondary use of health data.
