Day 1 - Afternoon Keynote & Evidence Talks

The afternoon programme dives into some of the most urgent questions in health data: How do we build trust? How do we turn innovation into equity? And how can we ensure that data-driven solutions truly improve care?

Through a mix of fireside chats, lightning talks, and a participatory World Café, delegates will hear from leaders shaping compliance and ethics, explore cutting-edge use cases in research and AI, and then work together to translate insights into collective action.

13:30 13:45 Part 2 (afternoon kick-off)

Here we pause to zoom out: how data shapes not only health but democracy, trust, and fairness. The goal is to inspire participants to think critically about the balance between data-informed and data-determined decision-making, grounding the day's debates in the values that matter.

14:00 14:30 Fireside Chat: Building Trust in Health Data: Compliance, Ethics

This conversation is designed to lower the formality and raise the candour. By bringing regulators and policymakers into dialogue, the goal is to show that governance is not just compliance but culture. Participants are encouraged to see themselves as part of the trust-building process, not bystanders to it.

14:30 15:30 Transforming Care: Innovation and Equity Lightning Talks

These talks offer sparks of inspiration — short, sharp ideas that open the floor to wider exploration. The World Café transforms those sparks into dialogue, turning the audience into co-creators of meaning. The goal is to shift from passive consumption to active conversation, ensuring that insights travel across tables and generate fresh connections.
